punjab claims - haryana has used its share of water

If sources of news agency PTI are to be believed, during the meeting of BBMB, officials of the punjab government have strongly objected to the release of more water to Haryana. The punjab government has claimed that the state has already used its share of water. It has also been given that the water level in Pong and Ranjit Sagar dams is lower than last year. It is being told that officials of BJP-ruled rajasthan also supported Haryana's demand.

'BJP can never be of punjab and Punjabis' - Bhagwant Mann

Reacting to the decision of BBMB, chief minister Bhagwant Mann strongly opposed the move to give 8,500 cusecs of water to Haryana. cm Mann wrote a post on 'X', "The water of the right of punjab and Punjabis is being given to haryana through BBMB, which punjab strongly opposes. The bjp government of the Centre and haryana have united against Punjab."

Attacking the bjp, cm Bhagwant Mann said, "We will not tolerate this 'dacoity' at any cost. bjp should be ready to face opposition. bjp can never be of punjab and Punjabis. Another dirty trick is being played by the central government regarding the water of punjab, we will not let it succeed at any cost."
