I helped in solving the problem."


However, trump remained firm on his statement about trade. He again said that this matter was resolved only when I talked about trade. trump said, "Last week, things were getting very dangerous between india and Pakistan. Both countries suddenly started firing missiles, and we settled everything."


A ceasefire was announced between india and pakistan on 10 May. US President donald trump took the credit for this. He posted on Truth Social and said, "Happy to announce that india and pakistan have agreed on an immediate ceasefire. Both countries have shown intelligence." This claim by Trump was rejected by the indian government.


The indian government had also clarified that the issue of trade was not raised during any discussion with the US during the tension with Pakistan.
