Supriya Sule Slams bjp Over Cross-Voting Allegations
Supriya Sule, ncp (SP) working president and mp from Baramati, criticized the bjp over allegations of cross-voting in the Vice Presidential election.
She claimed maharashtra is being unfairly targeted and defamed by implying opposition MPs from the state were responsible.
Sule questioned, “If 14 votes were separated, were all of them from Maharashtra?”
She accused BJP of defaming maharashtra and Marathi people without evidence.
🔹 Confidential Voting – How Did bjp Know?
Sule raised concerns about breach of confidentiality, asking:
“If voting was confidential, how does BJP know who cross-voted?”
She pointed to bjp mp Sanjay Jaiswal’s claim that 40 extra votes were cast.
Out of these, 11 belonged to ysr Congress, a non-All india Alliance party.
Sule suggested BJP is using such claims to malign opposition parties, depending on convenience.
🔹 Sule Targets ajit pawar Over IPS Officer Incident
Sule strongly criticized maharashtra Deputy cm ajit pawar for allegedly misbehaving with a woman IPS officer, Anjana Krishna.
In a viral video, Pawar was reportedly angry over action against illegal soil mining in Solapur.
Sule condemned his behavior and said:
“Asking a woman officer to show her degree is like questioning UPSC itself.”
“Officers doing honest work should not be intimidated.”
She demanded a transparent investigation into the incident and justice for the officer.
🔹 Concern Over Violent Protests in Nepal
Sule expressed concern over ongoing violence in Nepal, urging the indian government to act.
She called for an all-party meeting to discuss the situation.
Referencing Operation Sindoor, she said:
“All political parties should come together just like they did during that crisis.”
🔹 Conclusion
Sule's statements reflect growing tension between opposition parties and the bjp, especially regarding electoral integrity and governance in Maharashtra.
Her strong defense of maharashtra, criticism of power misuse, and appeal for national unity on international issues underline her proactive political stance.
