Dad and son john (Mohanlal) and Eesho (Prithviraj Sukumar) find themselves in a difficult predicament. Eesho impregnates her live-in companion, Anna, at the age when their son is ready to get married, while john impregnates his spouse at the age when their son is eligible for marriage (Kalyani Priyadarshan). The rest of the storyline is about how the dad helps his son hide it and marry without the public discovering.

The narrative of two families is largely told in Bro Daddy. The film begins with a description of the two families and their backgrounds. The main characters are introduced as being uninterested in one other, and the next scenario is a surprise. It's not quite a twist, but it's a pleasant surprise. Many people will find it relevant. After that, there are some rom-com sequences that lead to the true tale. With two interesting changes of events, the events pick up speed. At this point, we can tell if the film is based on the bollywood blockbuster Badhaai Ho. But that's where the resemblance ends.

Prithviraj Sukumar, who also seems to be the movie's filmmaker, has woven good humour around a poor premise. The difficulties that the father and son face in keeping their secret hidden are humorously described. Due to light-hearted humour and great dialogues, various scenes work throughout this time period. Casting was also a huge success. As a result, the storey is extremely touching. Bro Daddy's heart and soul is Mohanlal. The plot centres around him – how a parent transforms into a brother and friend for his son and overcomes his dilemma. It's a role that's full of wit and vigour. Despite his advanced age, mohanlal pulls it off admirably. The heart of his relationship comedy is the Mohanlal-Prithviraj duo.

The movie's runtime can seem excessive, especially in scenes where the ending is obvious, such as the hospital scene featuring mohanlal, Lalu Alex, and Jagadish. Fans of the principal actors who want some old-fashioned comedic relief set in a kerala Christian background should see the movie.
