In response to the risky practice of people stopping on the Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge for selfies and snaps, which has resulted in an alarming surge in accidents, Cyberabad traffic police have taken strong action. In the wake of a terrible event in which a young person was killed in a car crash while attempting to take a selfie, stringent enforcement protocols have been created.

Anyone found to be impeding traffic on the bridge would be subject to a substantial fine of Rs. 1,000. Thus, it is now forbidden to take pictures, cut cakes, or celebrate birthdays on the Durgam Cheruvu bridge. It is highly recommended that commuters use the convenient parking lots like ITC Kohenur. Birthday parties and other festivities are absolutely forbidden on the bridge; the sidewalk is only for pedestrian use.

Tank Bund Road lost its custom last year when the ghmc decided to outlaw birthday celebrations. Because of this, a lot of people started celebrating birthdays and taking photos on the Durgam Cheruvu bridge. All similar actions are now forbidden at that place as well.

A 27-year-old man was tragically murdered and his buddy suffered serious injuries in a selfie on Hyderabad's Deugram Cheruvu Cable Bridge. To be more specific, S. Anil Kumar, the deceased, worked as a driver. He and his wife Vijaya used to live at Chandranayak Thanda in Madhapur. In Sai baba Nagar, his buddy Komarapu Ajay, 25, works at a kirana shop.
