The unique identification authority of india (UIDAI) has enabled cardholders to alter their addresses despite the lack of paper evidence. Anyone who is willing to allow the user to use their address as proof, including family, relatives, friends, and landlords, can become an address verifier. In the absence of address evidence, these four procedures will assist you in altering the address on your Aadhaar card.

Step 1: Begin by requesting initiative from the residents.

• Residents must register on UIDAI's official website using their Aadhaar number.
• The Aadhaar number of the verifier must be supplied • The SRN will be sent

Step 2: The verifier must consent to the update by clicking on the link given to his or her cell phone.

• When you receive the link, click it to open it.
• Then, using your Aadhaar number or a virtual ID, log in.
• Now is the time to provide consent.

Step 3: Submit the request for which the resident receives a mobile confirmation.

• Now use the SRN given to log in.
• Check out your address right now.
• If necessary, you can adjust the local language.
• Fill out and submit your request

Step 4: Use the secret code to finish the operation.

• Residents will get a letter in the mail with a secret code
• You must login to the Online Address Update Portal
• Update your address using a secret code
review new address before pressing the submit button
• Don't forget to keep track of your URN for future status checks

Both the address verifier and the resident, however, need to have an Aadhaar mobile number that is up to date. If the address verifier fails to grant approval within the specified time frame, the request will be denied or declared invalid. The resident will have to begin the process all over again in this scenario.
