Producer Jon Landau talks about extending the scope of the avatar universe through comic books that explore the period between avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water and the Ubisoft video game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The events of the original avatar movie follow up more than ten years later in Avatar: The Way of Water. Jake and Neytiri began a family after the Sky people left Pandora. sam Worthington disclosed that james cameron prepared a storyline for him and Zoe Saldana that spans the interval between the two films.

Landau spoke with Screen Rant in an exclusive interview for Avatar: The Way of Water about the potential for the script's plot to be presented in multiple forms. He stated how the Ubisoft game will depict an uncharted region of Pandora with new Na'vi clans and that they are interested in fleshing out that time period using comic books.

Jon Landau: Perhaps a graphic novel. With Dark Horse, we definitely want to work on some projects during the interim. A short while before we return is when our Ubisoft game takes place. Therefore, we are utilising sideways opportunities to keep expanding the cannon. Anything we do, we want to make sure to note, is not a standalone and is rooted in the avatar lore.

In our Ubisoft video game, we visit a completely different area of Pandora that is home to numerous distinct clans. So you will also be able to see that.
