Congress mla from Khagaria Sadar Chhatrapati Yadav has written a letter to the congress high command. He has demanded that his name should be considered for the post of minister in the cabinet. The special thing is that he has mentioned his caste. At present, the situation regarding cabinet expansion in the state is not clear.

Talking to reporters, he said, "I have written a letter to sonia gandhi and rahul gandhi and formally requested that my name be considered, as my inclusion in the cabinet will send a very strong message to the OBCs and especially the Yadavs." I am the only Yadav mla of the party in Bihar. 

"My father Rajendra prasad Yadav has worked under the leadership of three chief ministers Bindeshwari Dubey, Bhagwat Jha Azad, and Jagannath Mishra," he said. The Left parties of the state have announced outside support for the government. Left parties have a total of 16 MLAs. Apart from this, Hindustani Awam Morcha is also included in the Grand Alliance.
