Maharashtra ATS raided and arrested accused - Mastermind caught?


In this case, ATS arrested Zulfikar ali Barodawala. Actually, Zulfikar ali Barodawala was already in the custody of NIA due to his association with isis terrorist organization. Zulfiqar was arrested by the NIA on 3 July 2023 under the maharashtra isis module.

As soon as the custody of NIA ended and the court sent Zulfikar to judicial custody, at the same time ATS told the court that Zulfikar is an accused in their case and his custody is required. Zulfikar was sent to ATS custody till 11 August. Zulfikar is alleged to have provided funds to other accused. Zulfikar ali is the brother-in-law of Adnan ali Sarkar, the doctor of terror arrested by NIA. Recently NIA has also arrested Dr. Adnan ali Sarkar, he has NIA custody till 8th August.

An IT engineer by profession, Barodawala was working in a Mumbai-based firm with its office in Pune. According to the investigating officials, the techie was living in pune for the past few years before the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested him on July 3 for his alleged links with the maharashtra module of ISIS.

The ATS told the mumbai Sessions court that they have established Barodawala's strong links in the pune case involving the arrest of two terror suspects and sought his custody. Barodawala was lodged in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail and was investigated by the NIA in the isis module case.
