Former mumbai Mayor and shiv sena leader (Uddhav Thackeray) Datta Dalvi has been arrested by the police
(Bhandup Police) yesterday for abusing chief minister Eknath Shinde in the Legislative Assembly. After this,
Uddhav Thackeray's party workers raised slogans outside Bhandup police Station. The police has presented
Dutta Dalvi in the court. The court has sent Dutta Dalvi to judicial custody for 14 days. After the arrest, Dutta
Dalvi has reacted on ABP Majha. Dutta Dalvi said that I stand firm on my position.
What did Dutta Dalvi say?
Former Mayor Datta Dalvi said that he stands firm on his position. I used the same words which anand Dighe
had used in Dharamveer films. Dutta Dalvi also said that there are worse insults than this in Malvani language,
but I have not given them. No matter how many cases are registered, it does not matter to us. He also expressed
anger that this is politics of revenge.
Judicial custody of Dutta Dalvi
Dutta Dalvi has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. mumbai police had sought 2 days police custody of
Dutta Dalvi. The police claimed in the Yaveli court that Dalvi had refused to accept the 41(A) notice issued
before his arrest. But explaining that there was no need for custody under this section, Magistrate M.R. Washim
Kar rejected the police demand. After this, judicial custody for 14 days was ordered. The lawyers are going to
apply for his bail today.
