Om Birla's words were unanimously accepted by all the countries present in the meeting and included in the final declaration.

According to the statement issued by the lok sabha secretariat, the joint declaration strongly condemned India's pahalgam attack and the parliaments of all BRICS countries agreed to work together against terrorism. Apart from terrorism, issues like AI, global trade, inter-parliamentary cooperation, and international peace and security were also discussed in the meeting.
