Consumer Forum: The Sant Kabir nagar district Consumer Commission, led by Surendra Kumar Singh, examined the case.

Decision:
The phone was deemed defective due to misleading claims about its water resistance.
The company was ordered to refund the full price of the phone (₹1,57,998).
Additionally, samsung was instructed to pay ₹30,000 compensation and 10% of the phone’s cost.
Total amount to be refunded: ₹1,58,998 (₹1.5 lakh + ₹30,000).
The refund was to be completed within 60 days.
