Dr. reddy attained this coveted title through outstanding accomplishments and services that not only benefited their institution or agency but also the local area, the state of texas, as well as the federal and worldwide levels.

Dr. reddy, a native of Cherlappally village in Warangal, telangana State, graduated from Kakatiya university with a pharmacy degree, from Panjab university with master's and doctoral degrees, and from that institution she also completed a postdoctoral programme.

At the texas A&M school of Medicine, Dr. reddy currently holds the positions of director and professor. In 2008, Dr. reddy joined texas A&M, where he conducted epilepsy neurotherapeutics research and helped establish the discipline of neurosteroids. His groundbreaking work includes the development of a neurocode for the treatment of epilepsy and a novel neurosteroid-replacement therapy for the treatment of brain disorders, epilepsy, and women's health issues.

Due to Dr. Reddy's groundbreaking work, two new medications were created that are now widely used in clinics throughout the world: ganaxolone (Ztalmy), the first neurosteroid for treating epilepsy, and brexanolone (Zulresso), the first FDA-approved medication for treating postpartum depression. Additionally, he found that neurosteroids can stop status epilepticus seizures, which are difficult to treat. The BARDA chose his medicine for phase 3 clinical studies in patients.
