Along with this, the company has also told that in the month of august in india 598 complaint reports were received on the basis of which action was taken.
In this regard, a company spokesperson said, “Over the years, we have continuously invested in Artificial Intelligence and other cutting edge technology, data scientists and experts and processes to keep our users safe on our platform. As per IT Rules 2021 whatsapp has banned more than 2.3 million (2,328,000) accounts in the month of August.
It is not that the company has banned so many accounts for the first time. Even before this, the platform had banned almost the same number of objectionable accounts in india in July and instructed people not to violate the rules.
