Simran recently won a prize for her role in the tamil version of Andhadhun, Andhagan.  Fans adored her new, fearless character in the movie, and her negative role demonstrated her adaptability.  Simran used this opportunity to criticize her detractors while accepting the honor.  Among them was a buddy, an unidentified actress who had mocked her and made fun of her "aunty type roles."

She claimed that she doesn't feel ashamed to play the parts of a mother or an older woman.  Each part, in her opinion, presents a fresh challenge and is superior to "dabba roles."  In the 2000s, simran was a major star, although she now plays parts other than leading lady. Her dabba role remark was interpreted by fans as a reference to Jyothika, who starred in Netflix's Dabba Cartel.

There were rumors that simran was teased by Jyothika, who then retaliated by doing this.  Now after the incident has been buzzing online, simran clarified the circumstances.  Although she didn't mention names, she expressed her belief that two actresses can never have a close friendship in the movie business.  She revealed that she received a call from the individual she was mentioning in her speech.  There was a lot of awkwardness between the two as they faced the problem. She feels that things won’t remain the same in their friendship now.
