Following the warning to stay away from a number of border regions due to the conflict between thailand and cambodia, india has now issued a new warning to stay away from seven nations. The warning was issued amid escalating international conflicts, unstable political environments, and continuing civil wars in a number of locations.

If you hold an indian passport, you should stay away from the following nations.

1. yemen

Because yemen has been embroiled in a protracted civil war with Houthi rebels, india has issued travel advice for its nationals.  Indian people are no longer permitted to travel to yemen by air, land, or water, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

2. cambodia

Amid its border disputes with thailand, india has also prohibited its citizens from traveling to Cambodia.  On the social media site X, the indian Embassy in cambodia wrote, "Indian nationals are advised to avoid travelling to the border areas due to the ongoing clashes at the Cambodia-Thailand border." "In case of any emergency, indian nationals may approach the Embassy of india, Phnom Penh at +855 92881676," the message stated.

3. Myanmar

Conflict is raging in Myanmar between ethnic armed groups and the government military, particularly in border provinces like Shan, Rakhine, and Chin.  Because of the ongoing fighting, the indian Ministry encouraged indians to refrain from traveling to Myanmar for non-essential purposes.

4. iraq

Iraq is still dealing with political instability, sectarian conflict, and terrorism. With the exception of the five provinces of Iraq—Nineveh (the capital of Mosul); Salahuddin (the capital of Tikrit); Diyala (the capital of Baquba); Al-Anbar (the capital of Ramadi); and Kirkuk—where certain areas are still dangerous, the indian ministry said in its advisory that indian nationals may think about visiting the country.

5. syria

A civil conflict involving government forces, opposition fighters, and terrorist organizations like isis is another issue facing Syria.  The MEA has advised indians to stay away from syria and asked those who are already there to leave right away and get in touch with the indian Embassy in Damascus.

6. libya

In addition, libya is mired in militia violence, armed conflicts, and political tensions.  Indians should refrain from making unnecessary trips to libya, the MEA advised.  Those who are already there should refrain from traveling across provinces and maintain contact with the indian Embassy in Tripoli.

7. lebanon

The nation is experiencing cross-border confrontations between israel and Hezbollah in addition to political and economic turmoil.  As a result, india has cautioned its citizens against visiting the nation.

8. bangladesh

Political turmoil is also occurring in bangladesh, particularly in the wake of Sheikh Hasina's overthrow.  The indian ministry has cautioned its citizens against visiting the country.

Thailand-Cambodia clashes: Stay away from these 7 areas

The MEA advisory came after the indian Embassy in thailand issued an advisory for its citizens on friday (July 25) and suggested avoiding visits to several areas in the country. india advised its nationals to avoid visiting seven provinces: Ubon Ratchathani, Surin, Sisaket, Buriram, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi, and Trat in Thailand.
