Tonk assembly seat. Today on tuesday (31 October) he has also filed his nomination forms.
Along with rajasthan, he is also counted among the powerful leaders of congress who have a strong hold in

Sachin Pilot’s late father Rajesh Pilot was a squadron leader in the indian air Force. Before entering politics, his
father had also fought in the 1971 war between india and Pakistan. After returning from there, he felt like going
into politics and he gradually became active in politics. After leaving the air Force job in 1979, he met former
Prime minister Indira gandhi for the first time and took her blessings and jumped into the election fray.
Sachin's father's name was Rajeshwar prasad Bidhuri.
Indira gandhi was also very impressed by the courage and boldness of Rajesh Pilot and fielded him in the
elections from Bharatpur lok sabha seat of Rajasthan. However, he was born in a gurjar family of Vedpura
village in ghaziabad district. His full name was Rajeshwar prasad Bidhuri. congress workers had requested
him to use the surname Pilot before filing his nomination papers.
Like Sachin, Aaran and Vihaan also take their grandfather's surname Pilot.
After this he did the same and won the elections by defeating the royal family. He held the post of Lok Sabha
MP and Union Minister. Rajesh Pilot died in a road accident on june 11, 2001, after which sachin pilot was
devastated. In the year 2002, sachin pilot entered active politics. Since then, sachin pilot has made a big mark
in politics. His two sons Aaraan and Vihaan also bear the surname Pilot.
