The plane crash that took place at ahmedabad Airport in gujarat on thursday (12 June) has shaken everyone. An air india plane carrying 242 people crashed during take-off and the entire plane caught fire. On this accident, senior Samajwadi party leader and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav's uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav has written an emotional message expressing grief.
Shivpal Yadav posted on instagram on the ahmedabad plane crash and wrote - "The crash of air India's plane going from ahmedabad to london is a heartbreaking tragedy. The tragic death of dozens of passengers and dedicated crew members in this accident has plunged the entire country into mourning.
We are all shocked, every life was precious - students, elderly, small children, women, and brave employees of air india deployed on their duties. The sudden death of all of them is unbearable, the pain of those families cannot be expressed in words." SP leader Shivpal Yadav further wrote- "I pay my humble tribute to all the departed souls who lost their lives in this horrific accident. I pray to god that he gives strength to all the bereaved families to bear this immense sorrow. The affected families should get all possible help and psychological counseling. This is not only a time of sympathy but also of responsibility. The death of such a large number of citizens is not just an accident, it is a national loss. We all need to stand united with the victims."
At the time of this accident in ahmedabad, there were 242 people on board the plane, including 230 passengers, 2 pilots, and 10 cabin crew. Among the passengers were 169 Indians, 53 British, 1 Canadian, and 7 Portuguese citizens. After the air india plane crash, six teams of NDRF and two teams of Border Security Force (BSF) have been sent for rescue work on the spot. After this, these teams started rescue there.
