According to Vikramarka, the immigrant leaders were planning plots to undermine the party. He emphasised that the recent selection of the PCC executive committee resulted in significant injustice being done to real congress leaders. He claimed that he was also quite dissatisfied that the PCC committees had not been formed with his input. The CLP leader claimed there were attempts to transfer control of the party to individuals who joined the congress from other parties. According to Uttam Kumar reddy, 58 of the 108 members assigned to various committees were tdp members.
