After transitioning from television to movies in 2014, Mrunal Thakur has established herself as a leading lady. Sita Ramam, who debuted in a few bollywood films, gave Mrunal Thakur a great hit in Tollywood.   Mrunal Thakur's portrayal of the heroine astounded everyone. Her portrayal of Sita was outstanding.  The most recent rumours state that Mrunal Thakur has raised her compensation.

After Sita Ramam's commercial success, Mrunal Thakur's compensation appears to have significantly increased. She reportedly wanted Rs 2 crore for each film, according to a report.  On the other hand, she accepted a salary for the film Sita Ramam of Rs. 85 lakhs. It indicates a 135 percent increase in compensation. She is now receiving several offers from both tollywood and Bollywood.

Recently, Mrunal Thakur appeared in the Netflix web series "Lust Stories-2." She is holding three bollywood films.  She will also appear in tollywood actor Nani's thirty-first film. She is also starring as the female protagonist in the upcoming parasuram Petla film starring Vijay Devarakonda. It appears that the producers would not budge, not even to pay Mrunal Thakur Rs. 2 crores in compensation. She is preparing for her upcoming kollywood debut. According to rumours, she would appear on screen alongside Sivakarthikeyan.
