The long-awaited sequel to the 2018 hit 'Raid' is ready to release in theaters, diving deeper into issues of corruption, power, and extreme drama.

Ajay Devgn reprises his role as fearless earnings tax officer Amay Patnaik, this time locking horns with a powerful new adversary—Dadabhai, portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh.

Notwithstanding stiff competition from upcoming releases like ‘HIT: The 0.33 Case’ and Suriya’s ‘retro,’ ‘Raid 2’ has already begun its development bookings ahead of its launch. The anticipation around the movie is excessive, particularly in the Hindi-speaking belt.

Bhushan Kumar confident about 'Raid 2' container office achievement

In an interview with News18, manufacturer bhushan kumar, chairman and managing director of T-Series, expressed strong self-belief in ‘Raid 2,’ brushing aside worries about competing releases. “Barring the A++ movies like franchise ones consisting of Pushpa, there’s no real parameter to judge the fulfillment of dubbed films within the northern belt. The market for those dubbed films is very restrained,” he defined.

He similarly introduced, “I don’t suppose these films will pose any opposition for us. raid 2 is getting approximately 4,000 screens throughout the U.S. We’re receiving the first-rate showcasing. So, I don’t suppose we’re facing any danger.”

Kumar Mangat Pathak: “There’s Room for All Films”

Co-producer kumar mangat Pathak echoed comparable sentiments, noting that the box office has enough area for a couple of movies to coexist. “All the movies are targeting multiplex audiences; however, humaare film ke indicates ki kami nahi hai (our film doesn’t lack shows). The screening slots for all films might be divided properly,” he said.

A call for diverse storytelling in Bollywood

With bollywood dealing with ongoing demanding situations at the container office, bhushan kumar emphasized the want for style diversification and strong storytelling. “Studios and manufacturing houses need to encourage a much wider range of genres. That’s the most effective way to ensure long-term survival of the industry. Just a few successful films won’t be sufficient. Audiences these days are discerning—they'll only assist proper content material. Even a movie with a major megastar won’t receive paintings if the tale fails to resonate,” he said.
