England's key pacer Stuart Broad took an unexpected decision. After hitting six sixes in six balls at the hands of yuvraj singh in the t20 world cup match, Broad, who did not play much in ODIs, will remain a legendary bowler in Tests.  The 37-year-old Broad is currently playing his 167th Test in the Ashes.

He announced that he will retire from international cricket after this match. He announced this on Saturday. Broad has taken many wickets so far. He took 178 wickets in 121 ODIs. These are 3647 runs scored by Broad in Tests. It is great for a pacer to score so many runs.

This makes it clear that he is a useful batsman. Meanwhile, Broad scored a huge century (169) in Tests. This is his only century. Scored 13 fifties. Another feature is that Broad is the only bowler who took 150 wickets in the Ashes series. That means one out of every four Test wickets he took was in the Ashes.

Our Kumble position is solid Broad is the 5th highest wicket-taker in Tests. murali Dharan (Sri Lanka-800), Shane Warne (Australia 708), Anderson (England-691) and Anil Kumble (India-619) are ahead of him. Meanwhile, Kumble's record is solid now that Broad has decided to retire.
