It seems like telugu desam party founder N chandrababu naidu and power star and Jana Sena party president pawan kalyan are performing a mind trick on one other. After arguing that an alliance between like-minded parties was necessary to prevent the split of the anti-incumbency vote in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan later changed his tune and proposed the "three options" formula, indicating that an alliance with the tdp is only feasible if the bharatiya janata party is a part of it.

With the bjp rejecting his suggestion and the tdp remaining silent, Pawan has switched up his mental strategy. The Jana Sena leader declared at a meeting on sunday in prakasam district that he had alliances with just people and no one else, and that he will not alter his policies in exchange for money or power. In order to safeguard the interests of the state, he begged the populace to grant him power. He declared that his party would release its own manifesto outlining his plans for the future if it were to gain power.

Pawan kalyan seems to be putting pressure on the tdp by claiming that he has an alliance with only the people and no one else, warning that if the latter doesn't back down and succumb to its demands, there won't be an alliance. The tdp has been adamant that Pawan will have no choice but to form an alliance with it, even if that means leaving the BJP. However, it is now clear from the power star's most recent remarks that the tdp cannot take him for granted.
