South indian actors Mohan and jayaram are the latest addition to the cast of Vijay’s Thalapathy68, which already includes Prabhudeva and Prashanth.
“Mohan’s character will have different shades, and he has many combination scenes with Thalapathy,” a source tells us. The makers of the film, directed by venkat Prabhu, held its puja yesterday in the city. We hear that the team will begin the shoot with a song sequence.
Meanwhile, there’s also buzz that actress Meenakshi Chaudhary, who was recently seen in Kolai, has roped in to play one of the female leads of this action entertainer, which will have Vijay playing dual roles as a father and son. Actor Vijay has signed up for his next tamil film, tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 68', with director venkat Prabhu. Actress Meenakshi Chaudhary has been cast as the female lead, with actors Mohan and priyanka Arul Mohan also joining the cast. The film is set to begin shooting in october, produced by AGS Entertainment and with music composed by Yuvan shankar Raja. 'Thalapathy 68' marks the first collaboration between venkat prabhu and Vijay. Vijay's upcoming film 'Leo' is set to release on october 19.
