Addressing the countrymen, PM Modi said that efforts will be made across the country to save India's rich knowledge tradition and biodiversity. With this, our ancient knowledge will not be limited to books or walls only, but will become a part of the thinking of the new generation. Inspired by this idea, the government has launched 'Gyan Bharatam Mission' in this year's budget. Under this mission, ancient manuscripts scattered across the country will be digitized. After this, a national wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital repository will be prepared, where students and researchers from not only india but all over the world will be able to connect with the indian knowledge tradition. He appealed to the people to actively participate in this initiative.
Told the way to connect with the government
PM Modi said that if you are associated with any such effort or want to join, then contact MyGov or the Ministry of Culture, because these are not just manuscripts; these are the chapters of the soul of india that we have to pass on to the coming generations. Referring to the famous Kaziranga National Park of Assam, PM Modi praised a unique effort. He said that Kaziranga, which is generally famous for its one-horned rhinoceros, has been conducted for the first time as 'Grassland Bird Census'.
Understanding nature became easier with the help of technology
He said that you will be happy to know that more than 40 bird species were identified in this census, including many rare birds. All this was possible with the help of technology. The team installed sound recording devices, and then those sounds were analyzed on the computer through AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology. In this process, the birds were identified only by their voice, without disturbing them. This example shows that when technology and sensitivity meet, it becomes even easier to understand nature.
He emphasized the need to encourage such efforts so that the identity of India's biodiversity remains and the coming generations can be connected to it.
