Zendaya believed tom Holland's explanation of his new film Uncharted was absurd the first time he tried to explain it to her. Holland will comeback to the huge screen next week with Uncharted, the long-awaited film adaption of the blockbuster video game series, following the record-breaking triumph of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Uncharted has had a long development process, with ownership and release dates changing so frequently that fans started to doubt its validity. With filmmaker Ruben Fleischer at the helm and Holland in the starring character of Nathan Drake, the film has finally gotten off the ground. Uncharted isn't looking to get right into the lore of the games just yet, as the storey is actually a prequel. The prospect of long-lost treasure from hundreds of years ago is what sparks off this journey for Holland's Drake, who is still early in his treasure-hunting career. Uncharted depicts Drake's initial encounter with his eventual mentor Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Walberg), as well as his encounter with a cruel, more seasoned treasure hunter (Antonio Banderas). Sophia ali and Tati Gabrielle also star in the film.

Uncharted fans will be accustomed with all of the surprises and turns, but those who aren't acquainted with the games may be confused by what it has to provide. Holland's MCU co-star and fiancée Zendaya is a prime example. Holland recounted telling Zendaya about a particularly insane Uncharted stunt during a recent interview on The chris Evans Breakfast Show (via Virgin Radio UK). It's correct to conclude she didn't react the way he expected.
