Promising hero karthi was back on screens for the second time in 2019 with Kaithi helmed by lokesh kanagaraj and bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures the movie co-stars Narain, Vatsan, arjun Das and the movie was a huge success at the Box-Office. Even though he had 'Thambi' released up next, the success of 'Kaithi' was the talking point.

The latest buzz is that after wrapping works of Maniratnam's ponniyin selvan most probably by the end of 2020, karthi is set to join hands with writer and director Raju Murugan for a project.
