raja Singh, a bjp lawmaker who was detained under the Preventive Detention Act in august after making disparaging remarks about the Prophet Mohammad, was released on wednesday by the telangana High Court. The court ordered the MLA's immediate release while excluding the PD Act proceedings against him. But it also set forth some restrictions, such as the requirement that no one else be present during the bjp leader's release from jail, either inside or outside, save for his lawyer and four members of his family.

The mla was also told not to take part in or host any rallies or meetings to celebrate his release. He was also instructed to decline any interviews from media outlets. The court ordered the mla to refrain from speaking out provocatively against any religion or publishing any offensive or disparaging content on any social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, YouTube, etc. The decisions were given in response to a plea submitted by raja Singh's wife contesting the use of the PD Act, which was heard by a division bench of Justices abhishek Reddy and J. Sreedvi. raja Singh was sent to jail on august 25 after hyderabad police Commissioner used Preventive Detention (PD) Act.

Following up from ongoing rallies calling for his re-arrest for allegedly uttering disparaging remarks about the Prophet Mohammad, the police took the action. raja Singh, a rowdy sheeter at Mangalhat police Station, is accused by the police of regularly making uproarious statements that drive a rift between communities and cause public disorder. Since 2004, a total of 101 criminal cases have been filed against him. He committed 18 crimes against the community within the jurisdiction of various hyderabad police stations. On august 22, raja Singh published a derogatory film online about the Prophet Mohammad with the purpose of provoking all demographic groups and upsetting the peace and quiet of the public.
