Similarly, a government school teacher in Karur was fired for using unsuitable language in the classroom. Tenzing Balaiya (44) is from Villiputhur's Attikulam. He is a Botany professor at a sivakasi private college. At the same college, he is also the coach of the National Student Corps.

The parents of the student filed a complaint at Villiputhur's All Women's police Station. professor Tenzing Balaiah was detained and placed in the Aruppukottai branch jail yesterday after police filed a complaint against him. In this school, R. Panneerselvam (46) served as a science graduate assistant teacher. There were allegations that he was using sexually explicit language in the classroom while teaching science. When the Dantoni Regional education Officer learned of this, he immediately traveled to Ramani Uppalli to interview the pupils and file a report to the district Primary education Officer. Following this, district education Officer Vijayendran ordered the firing of graduate assistant teacher R. Panneerselvam yesterday based on the report.
