Haryana-based YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra (33) runs a YouTube channel named 'Travel with Jo'. The police suspect that she conducted reconnaissance at key places in India, especially temples, while posing as a travel vlogger, and passed their details to Pakistani intelligence officials. The police have found that she wrote about her ten-day trip to pakistan in her diary, praising the hospitality of the people there.
The newly revealed whatsapp chats further reveal the relationship between Jyoti Malhotra and ISI agent ali Hassan. These chats make it clear that she was not just providing information, but also had a strong emotional connection with Hassan personally. Her request to "marry me in Pakistan" suggests that there may be some kind of 'honey trap' strategy between them, beyond espionage. Investigators have seized Jyoti Malhotra's mobile phone and laptop and are examining them in depth. It has been found that she had conversations with ISI agents through encrypted platforms in coded language. In particular, it has been found in some chats that ali Hassan asked her about the details of indian undercover agents and their operations. When Hassan asked if she had seen any undercover agents with special protocols when she visited the Atari border, Jyoti replied that there was no such thing. "Watch who is getting the protocol... that is the way to identify undercover agents," Hassan suggested, to which Jyoti replied, "Aren't they all stupid?"
