Devi Sri Prasaad and Taman are two of telugu movie's most popular and effective music composers in the last twenty years. DSP or Taman would be the music writers for the majority of telugu large-budget films starring big actors. However, it appears that Thaman has been outshining DSP in recent years, particularly over the last 3 to 4 years. If we compile a list of telugu chartbusters in recent years, Thaman appears in the majority of those.

DSP has recently released albums like as Pushpaa, Rowdy Boyz, Good Luck Saakhi, and Khiladi. With the exception of Pushpa, the rest of the movie' songs failed to appeal to the audience. Taman, on the other hand, produced films such as Akhandaa and Bhemla Nayaak. He has performed admirably in both films. His background compositions for these two films, in particular, were remarkable. Thaman also produced the recent chart-topping song 'Kalaavadhi' from Sarkaaru Varri Pata.

Even songs form AMJ aren't appealing like Bheemlaa or SVP and that shows who holds the upper hand and it is time for DSP to avoid movies like AMJ and focus on blockbuster mass movies like Thaman right now. Thaman is currently conquering DSP with all of his efforts. This era is being dubbed the 'Thaman Era' by people on social media. We'll have to wait and see if DSP's forthcoming flicks can keep up with Thaman's.
