The 19-day book fair in chennai concluded yesterday. Babasi informed that 15 lakh readers visited this book fair and books worth around 18 crore rupees were sold.

In that way, the 47th chennai Book Fair started on the 3rd of last at Nandanam YMCA ground in Chennai. The book fair was held on holidays from 11 am to 8.30 pm and on other days from 2 pm to 8.30 pm.
15 lakh readers, 18 crore book sales
A total of 900 halls have been set up in the 19-day book fair. All books sold in all venues. Also 10% discount was given on books purchased at the book fair. Also, the entry fee for the book fair has been fixed at Rs 10. Minors were also admitted free of charge.
Apart from this, in this book fair every day in the evening, speeches by the best writers and scholars and poets of tamil Nadu were also given. Meanwhile, the book fair which was held for the last 19 days ended yesterday. 15 lakh readers visited this book fair. Babasi also informed that about 18 crore worth of books were sold.
