Former minister Ramlal Markanda will contest by-election?

Congress mla ravi Thakur first voted in favor of bjp candidate Harsh Mahajan in the rajya sabha elections. After this, when he was not present in the assembly despite the whip being issued, his membership was cancelled. After cancellation of membership, ravi Thakur left congress and joined BJP. bjp declared him as its candidate for the by-election to be held here. On the same day ravi Thakur's ticket was announced, Ramlal Markanda had announced to leave BJP. However, he had then said that he can also contest elections from the congress party. congress also did not make Ramlal Markanda its candidate and fielded Anuradha Rana in the electoral battle. Now after the announcement of congress candidate after bjp, Ramlal Markanda has also said that he will contest the elections as an independent candidate.

The chief minister was asking her to come to delhi and shimla and join congress, but then congress also fielded Anuradha Rana in the electoral battle.
