Independent MLAs Sombir Sangwan (Dadri), Randhir Singh Golan (Pundri) and Dharampal Gondar (Neelokheri) announced the decision in rohtak on tuesday in the presence of leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh Hooda and state congress chief uday Bhan.
What is the mathematics of assembly?
At present the number of MLAs in the 90-member haryana Assembly is 88. That means 45 MLAs are needed for majority. There are 40 bjp MLAs, 30 congress and 10 JJP MLAs in the assembly. At present the bjp government has the support of two other independent MLAs. That means the government has 2 MLAs less than the majority. After the government came into minority, congress has said that President's rule should be imposed in Haryana. Along with this, elections should be held.
