The terrorist attack in pahalgam once again smells of Pakistani conspiracy. Intelligence sources say that the conspiracy of the terrorist attack was hatched in Pakistan. It is being said that Saifullah Kasuri, a close aide of Hafiz Saeed, is behind the attack. In such a situation, india has taken many big decisions to teach pakistan a lesson. The most important decision is to cancel the Indus Water Treaty. pakistan can crave for water due to this decision of India.

Let us tell you, in the pahalgam terrorist attack, terrorists killed 26 people, after which the whole country was waiting for the response of the indian government. In the decision taken under the chairmanship of prime minister Modi, it has been decided to cancel the Indus Water Treaty of 1960. In such a situation, we will tell you about the Indus Water Treaty, by cancelling which india can kill the whole of pakistan in one stroke.

What is the Indus Water Treaty?

This agreement was made to meet the water needs of both countries after the India-Pakistan partition. On september 19, 1960, the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and pakistan President ayub khan signed this agreement. Under this, rules were set for the use of water from six rivers Beas, ravi, Sutlej, Indus, Chenab and Jhelum. Under this agreement, pakistan gets all the water from the three western rivers Chenab, Jhelum and Indus. On the other hand, India gets water from Sutlej, Beas and ravi rivers.

India did not stop water despite the war

Let us tell you that india, which has fought many wars with pakistan after independence, never broke this agreement nor stopped Pakistan's water. However, for a long time there was a demand in india to break this water treaty. Now india has finally taken that decision.

Pakistan will crave for water

Let us tell you, the Indus Water Treaty was signed between india and pakistan after a long mediation by the World Bank. Before the implementation of this agreement, on 1 april 1948, India had stopped the water of two major canals, due to which 17 lakh acres of land in Pakistani Punjab was thirsty for water. Now after completely cancelling this agreement, india has broken the back of Pakistan. Actually, Pakistan's punjab and Sindh provinces were completely dependent on the water of rivers like Chenab, Jhelum and Indus to meet their water needs, but now Pakistan will not get water from these rivers.
