A voice, purportedly Dileep's, could be heard saying that the five police officers investigating the issue will be "dealt with" in one set of voice recordings. A male voice states in another clip that they could only seek revenge if they got out. One individual talks of driving a truck over Baiju Paulose in a third audiotape, which contains muffled sounds. The voice says, "We might have to look at another one and a half crores." In the clip, there is an audible sign that others are eavesdropping.

Six people are named in the new FIR: Dileep, Suraj, Dileep's brother Anoop, a man named 'VIP' by Balachandrakumar, and two others. They are accused of aiding and abetting of an offense punishable by prison, 118 (concealing a design to commit a criminal act deserving by death or life imprisonment), 120B (part of a criminal conspiracy), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (criminal intimidation) (criminal act done by several people). 

According to Reporter TV, dileep will receive a notice for interrogation in the case from the Crime Branch, and he will be questioned for interrogation on Tuesday. Following the release of the audio clips, the police initiated further investigations into the case, and the kerala government petitioned the supreme court for a six-month extension of the trial. According to the government's petition, some of the new disclosures are highly serious in nature and require more investigation. Balachandrakumar told TNM that he had seen dileep and Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the case, have a friendship. dileep allegedly watched a film of the woman actor's attack before it was shown in court, according to the director.
