Due to mediocre reviews and a mediocre box office take, Captain America: Brave New World set Marvel Studios back a step after Deadpool & Wolverine restored a lot of faith in the MCU last summer.
 
Can Thunderbolts* make a difference?  Initial responses to the film have been very positive, and excitement is growing.  Last night, fan screenings were held all around the united states to increase anticipation.  Because of this, it is virtually hard to avoid spoilers on social media. However, we have information regarding Thunderbolts*'s mid-credits scene and more information about what to expect from the second stinger for those of you who are excited to find out more. 


The mid-credits sequence is played for laughs, despite X's assertions that doctor Doom abducted The Sentry and The leader warned a guy in a green hood with a foreign accent about a Gamma War.
 
As the denouement to a running humor, it shows red Guardian trying to persuade a woman in the grocery store's cereal section to purchase a box of Wheaties featuring the team.  But when she takes the box, she quickly leaves, setting it down at the end of the aisle.


However, the post-credits scene is a must-see since it shows the heroes in their new headquarters, 14 months later, talking about sam Wilson's lawsuit against them for using the name "The Avengers."  In the process, red Guardian suggests several other names, such as"New Avengerz," which is spelled with a z, to clarify the movie's asterisk. 

They notice a spacecraft has entered their environment after Bob rejects the idea of reverting to The Sentry out of concern for releasing The Void. This is the Fantastic Four, as indicated by the "4" logo on the side and the team's MCU theme!

Is The Fantastic Four: First Steps spoiled by that?  In Avengers: Doomsday, we were aware that they were going to Earth-616, and we anticipate that the next reboot will clarify how and why that occurs.
