
The indian army carried out a missile attack on terrorist hideouts in pakistan and Pakistan-occupied kashmir in the early hours of wednesday (May 7, 2025). The army targeted the headquarters of banned Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The 9 places targeted include Hizbul Mujahideen's headquarters Masjid-e-Bilal in Muzaffarabad, Jaish-e-Mohammed headquarters in Bahawalpur and Lashkar headquarters.
According to news agency PTI, a Pakistani army spokesperson confirmed in an interview to the BBC that the indian Air Force has targeted Bahawalpur and Muridke. india has clearly stated that its action has been focused, measured and non-provocative and no Pakistani military establishment has been targeted. India's action comes two weeks after the terror attack in pahalgam on april 22, in which 26 people were killed.

How many strikes were carried out where?
If the Pakistani army is to be believed, 4 strikes were carried out in Ahmedpur East, 7 in Muzaffarabad, 5 in Kotli, 4 in Muridke, 2 in Sialkot-Kotli Luhara, and 2 in Shakargarh.
