On March 26, 2018, coinciding with its silver jubilee foundation day, the SVIMS signed MoUs with HGHI and Koti Group of Ventures to work on areas like Public Health, Safety, and Quality. SVIMS will also be forming a center for healthcare quality and patient safety in association with HGHI and Koti Group of Ventures. As a First step, doctor Sarthak Das has been to the SVIMS on 27th and 28th to observe and analyze the plans. Doctor Sarthak Das is a senior advisor, research translation and global health policy, HGHI. 


Doctor Sarthak Das, who had worked previously as regional director of Clinton Health and access initiative (CHAI), and had extensively worked on high-quality rural service to HIV affected people in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea. After coming as the visiting professor, doctor Sarthak Das has made discussions with the faculty members of SVIMS and analyzed the scope of research on public health and patient experience, and he was awarded a certificate of Honor for attending the event as a visiting professor. 


Technology partners, Koti Group's chairman Saripalli Kotii Reddy will be visiting SVIMS to discuss with SVIMS director and vice chancellor T.S.Ravikumar and doctor Sarthak Das. Director of SVIMS, T.S.Ravikumar said that SVIMS will work together with HGHI and Koti Group of Ventures and focus on providing quality healthcare and better patient experience, while also reducing hospital mortality, and also setting an example to the nation by developing an effective model ensuring patient safety and healthcare.
