Under Operation Sindoor, the indian Armed Forces carried out targeted attacks on terror camps throughout pakistan and Pakistan-occupied kashmir (POK) in a forceful and well-coordinated reaction to the april 22 terror attack in pahalgam that killed 26 people. Precise, non-escalating, and cautiously avoiding Pakistani military or civilian sites were the goals of the operation. In less than an hour, India's diplomatic apparatus was in full action, contacting important foreign allies in an effort to stop pakistan from taking over the conversation. What india did was as follows.

Notably, one of India's first significant remarks after the incident was released from its embassy in the united states as well as on indian land.

By highlighting that india had targeted terrorist camps explicitly rather than civilian or military facilities and that it had no intention of escalating into a full-scale war, this move was precisely calibrated to reach the world public, particularly the US.

According to authorities, india informed a number of nations about the attack it carried out on nine terrorist locations in pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

"Senior indian officials have spoken to their counterparts in a number of countries to brief them on the steps taken by india," according to a PTI source.

"Among these are the US, the UK, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Russia," added the statement.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio was informed "shortly after" the strikes that no civilian, military, or economic targets in pakistan had been hit, according to National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

In a post on X, Rubio said, "I am monitoring the situation between india and pakistan closely. I echo @POTUS's comments earlier today that this hopefully ends quickly and will continue to engage both the indian and Pakistani leadership towards a peaceful resolution."

The Embassy of india has also given a statement.

"It was expected that pakistan would take action against terrorists and the infrastructure that supports them. Instead, during the fortnight that has gone by, and has indulged in denial and made allegations of false flag operations against India", read a press release from the Embassy of india in Washington DC.

"No military, economic, or civilian targets in pakistan have been struck.  The indian Embassy in Washington, DC, issued a press release stating that only known terror camps were struck.

India's story dominated international headlines thanks to the communication's speed, clarity, and strategic timing, which avoided Pakistan's typical tactic of victimization, disinformation, and denial.

Pakistan belting out lies
Given that pakistan will use deception to try to gain as much sympathy as possible by playing the victim, the diplomatic apparatus had to be quickly put into action.

When India's reply was described as a "act of war" following Wednesday's strikes, Pakistani prime minister Shehbaz Sharif began to assign blame.

"Pakistan has every right to give a strong response to this war imposed by India... The Pakistani nation and its armed forces know very well how to deal with the enemy. We will never allow the enemy to succeed in its malicious objectives," Shehbaz Sharif posted on X.

As is customary, a statement from the Pakistani government attempted to exploit untrue information regarding the strikes and their results.

Women and children were among the people who died as a result of India's aggressive action.  Additionally, commercial air traffic is now seriously threatened by this act of aggression," the statement stated.

For this reason, india has to communicate with its international partners quickly.
