The National students Union of india (NSUI) has opened a front on the injustice being done to indian students studying abroad. NSUI National President varun Chaudhary has written a letter to the Ministry of External Affairs demanding immediate action on this issue. In fact, the incidents of cancellation of visas and admissions of indian students in foreign universities are increasing, due to which the future of thousands of students is at stake.

Citing the data of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), NSUI said, "In recent months, 327 student visas were cancelled, out of which more than half are of indian students. Not only this, more than 30 universities in America cancelled the admissions of about 10,000 indian students, even though these students had already received offer letters.''

'Insult of indian students hurts our global reputation'

varun Chaudhary termed it very shameful and said, "This is not just a small mistake, but a big betrayal with our talented students. Insult of indian students abroad hurts our global reputation. The government will have to take it seriously.''

What did NSUI demand from the Foreign Minister?

NSUI National President varun Chaudhary has clearly demanded in a letter to Foreign minister Dr. S. Jaishankar-

1. Talks with foreign universities and governments should start immediately

2. The affected students should get legal help and support from indian embassies

Our students are the pride of the country - NSUI

varun Chaudhary said, "Our students are the pride of the country. They show India's strength and talent abroad. The government should take immediate steps instead of ignoring their problems. NSUI has made it clear that it will raise this issue on every platform and will continue to fight for the rights of the students. Many students from delhi go abroad to study every year. If you or someone you know is facing such a problem, then this initiative of NSUI is a ray of hope for you. NSUI has appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs to make this issue a national priority, so that indian students get the respect, security and justice they deserve.
