Hansika is a prominent indian actress who works predominantly in the tamil and telugu film industry. She started her career in 2007 when she made her debut in the telugu movie 'Desamuduru'. In tamil, she entered with Dhanush's 'Maapillai'. Slowly, she did lots of commercially successful movies and she grabbed the top spot. But, her recent releases are failing so badly. 


Her last release 'Villain' in malayalam released amidst huge expectations and it failed. In telugu, 'Goutham Nanda' just showed her as a glam doll and that also ended as below average. The actress was last seen in vikram Prabhu's 'Thuppaki Munai' and she is busy with her next. This is going to be her 50th movie and she pairs with her ex-boyfriend STR in this movie. The movie is titled 'Mahaa'. The team completed the shooting last year itself.


The makers are now planning to release the movie on the OTT platform. The producers have already initiated talks with various leading OTT platforms. If sources are to be trusted, the movie might release on Netflix by July. Netflix will be buying this movie for a whopping price. Hansika never signed any other movie in recent times.
