The engine will receive significant changes, focusing on emissions, performance, and output.
We're told the new Z Series-equipped Swift will have the same output as the outgoing K12 engine. It will churn out 90hp and 113Nm and is expected to come with Mild-Hybird technology. There is no word on new Swift transmissions. But we expect maruti to continue with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox, which should be suitable for the indian environment. The starting price of this car is announced to be around 6.7 lakhs.
