Though many believed that they would actually get married, Ravi's shocking admission that he was already married and had a daughter stunned everyone. lasya also got married after this on-screen pair later broke up. They have now reconnected for Star MAA's comedy Stars programme.
The producers aim to capitalise significantly on this on-screen duo ever since ravi and lasya rekindled their relationship. For the same purpose, these two create a parody of a blockbuster movie in each episode. A portion of the audience, however, is not pleased with the changes they make to the plot and the way they make fun of particular characters.
For instance, in the Uppena parody, the villain cutting off the hero's genitalia is openly mocked. In the nuvvostanante nenoddantana parody, they also added a "ganja" element to the conclusion, mocking Srihari's persona. Even in the magadheera parody, Charan's character is killed by Kajal's character near the end. While they are undoubtedly hilarious and make tv viewers jump out of their chairs, some die-hard fans are outraged that some great movies are being analysed in this way. Naturally, ravi and lasya are the only ones to blame.
