EV Velu, the minister of Public Works, Highways, and Minor Ports has directed officials in tamil Nadu to take reasonable measures to improve road safety and prevent accidents. minister E. V. Velu visited the General secretariat today to review road safety measures with the Highways Department's Chief Engineers. Later he met the press and said,

"Modern technology is installed on highways with big multi-lane roads and good asphalt roads, which increases traffic congestion. The state of tamil Nadu has the most black patches on national highways. The Transport Research Division in tamil Nadu has found 748 black spots (TRW). The black spot is defined by the Traffic Research Unit as a location where five serious traffic accidents or ten fatalities have happened at 500-meter intervals in the last three years.

It's critical to re-examine whether accidents have occurred after being identified as blackheads and taking steps to prevent them. The Central Road Research Institute in delhi provides all of the necessary training for road safety tasks. Similarly, recruitment officers from delhi would teach highway engineers in tamil Nadu. Road safety improvements must be expedited by the National Highway System, State Highways and Traffic Police, and local Bodies. Installing solar lights at important crossings and curves would be a good way to prevent accidents on the road."
