On january 26, the Sri Sairam Institute of technology in chennai hosted the audio premiere of 'Lal Salaam'. She praised her crew as she addressed the audience. Speaking at the ceremony, aishwarya Rajinikanth discussed recent personal assaults on her father on social media.

She stated, "I normally avoid social media, but my staff frequently tells me what's going on and keeps presenting some postings. I used to feel upset when I saw them. We are human beings, too. Recently, several individuals have referred to my father as a Sanghi. I wasn't sure what it meant. I then asked someone what the term Sanghi meant, and they told that it refers to people who support a specific political party.

Continuing, "I'd like to make it clear that Rajinikanth is not a Sanghi." If he was, he would not have made a movie like 'Lal Salaam'." Rajinikanth burst into tears after hearing her words, and his followers went crazy.
