The hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) announced the provision of water tankers during the night to handle the city's increasing water demand. A press statement issued on friday stated that special night shift policemen will be assigned to keep an eye on the tanker supply. According to the press release, "With extra shifts, arrangements should be made to supply tankers for domestic needs during the day and for commercial purposes at night."
