During the military's ground operation in the Gaza Strip, one Israeli soldier was liberated from the grasp of the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas, the israel Defence Forces (IDF) said on Monday. Ori Megidish, a female soldier, was kidnapped by Hamas militants on october 7 during their raid on Israel.
The IDF posted on X, saying, "She's back home. On october 7, PVT Megidish was kidnapped by Hamas. She was liberated tonight as ground operations were underway. Ori and her family are back at home." Hamas captured at least 240 individuals during their assault on israel nation.

Earlier on Monday, a video featuring three women apprehended during the attacks was also made public by Hamas. In a short statement, one of the ladies criticized Israel's handling of the hostage situation.
