N.Linguswamy, a tamil director who has previously produced some hugely successful Telugu-dubbed movies, such as Vishal's Pandemkodi and Madhavan's Run, has yet to direct a telugu movie. And now he's releasing ram Pothineni's "The Warrior," which is also being released in tamil and Telugu. Here's the catch, though.

There are rumours that the telugu version's stakeholders are becoming concerned about the film's final cut. We've heard that Linguswamy made ram a violently intense mass masala picture, and the second part of the film has proven to be far bloodier than anticipated. Although telugu moviegoers have become accustomed to violent films like Akhanda, producers of The Warrior are reportedly concerned about whether telugu viewers will accept ram in such a role or not given that this is his first movie in a police officer role.

They claim that ram and Linguswamy are currently working on a different version of the second half in an effort to lessen the violence. The crew wants to make sure they have a winner on hand because the movie's release is only a week away. The movie is releasing this weekend and is running low on buzz so far.
