Director Susi Ganesan is making a comeback to Tamil films in style, with his upcoming flick which is the sequel to his superhit flick Thiruttu Payale that had Jeevan and Sonia Agarwal in lead roles, besides Malavika and Manoj K Jayan in supporting characters.
The Kandasamy maker was on a sabbatical post the result of his Bollywood debut Shortcut Romeo, the remake of Thiruttu Payale that starred Neil Nitin Mukesh and Ameesha Patel. Now he's back with a bang, with this sequel that has Amala Paul in a sizzling hot makeover, paired with Bobby Simha who plays a cop and Prasanna.
The film which had raised eyebrows with its sensuous first look poster featuring Amala in an erotic pose had its audio launch held recently and has been certified U/A by the CBFC. The erotic thriller which focuses on illegal affairs is all set to release by the third week of September.
It is to be seen if this sequel which is releasing 11 years after the first part released can repeat its success. The movie is touted to be a secret affair between a home maker and a third person and what happens next forms the rest of the story. The first part featured Malavika and Abbas.
